Age 82, of Halifax passed away suddenly on October 8, 2023 in the QEII Halifax Infirmary.
Born in Halifax, NS he was a son of the late Karl Russell Knox and Mary Gertrude (Power).
Karl worked at Dalhousie University for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Jeannette Agnes (Griffin) of 58 years; son, Darin Knox; daughter, Joanne Murphy (Knox); brother, Terry (Mary) Knox; 3 grandchildren, Kaitlin Knox, Alan Knox, and Jacqueline Murphy; sisters-in-law, Judy Knox (Gillis), Beverly Young (O’Connell); several nieces, nephews, cousins, and his special buddy, Danny Knox who is also his nephew.
He was predeceased by his sister, Pauline Mountain (Knox); brothers, David Wayne Knox, Anthony Rosaire Knox; brother-in-law, Wayne Mountain.
There are no words to express the loss and pain in our hearts. He will remain with us each and every day.
