To Brian’s family,
I am so sorry to learn of Brian’s passing. Please accept my condolences.
I started going to Brian’s Barber Shop when he first started. He was one of the best. When I stopped driving, he offered to pick me up and take me back home after my haircut. One day, the shop got busy and he said “Can you wait until I cut this guy’s hair?”. By the time he was finished, another two or three customers came in. Brian would ask “Can you wait until I cut this guy‘s hair?”. This went on all afternoon, we were all talking and enjoying our time. I was in the barbershop from 2 - 5 PM. Always a good haircut and good conversation at Brian‘s barbershop.

Dear Marilyn,
My sincerest condolences on the passing of Brian. Getting older one has more time to reflect on the past. Relationships always play an important role as one journeys through life, no more so than the ones formed and nourished in our early years. Many of the most cherished moments in my life involve the Ferguson and MacLeod families. Those fond recollections are forever etched in my memory.
Take care.

Marilyn,
I was shocked and saddened to read of Brian's passing. I have fond memories of Brian, you, and Uncle Donald and Aunt Mary.I wish I could express my sympathies in person but I'm currently in Ontario. I'm sure you'll miss Brian and his smiling face and sharp sense of humour. I will too. Brian was a good friend and cousin and I hope he's at rest peacefully.

So very sorry to hear of Brian's passing. First met Brian one morning when he dropped into my place of work back in early 90's. He was driving a red Olds Cutlass at that time and he came in for some reason or another. Shortly thereafter I became a customer of his. Great friendly who loved a good chat and talk either cars or music. Matter of fact, i made up a couple of music sticks[flash drives] for him with 2-3,000 songs on it. Brian, you'll be sorely missed. Rest in peace my friend.

Our deepest condolences to Marilyn,Clare and family on your loss. I became a customer of Brian’s 16 years ago when we moved back home and this deepened into a friendship where I looked forward to my regular visits with him. Brian was a “ decent “ person kind, considerate, caring and respectful. On leaving his shop you always looked better from his meticulous attention and you felt better as well a person. He took great pride in his work. He will be greatly missed.

I met Brian when I moved to Glace Bay from New Waterford and found myself in need of a new Barber. He cut my hair for close to 15 years. I'll remember our regular talks about the Blue Jays (I can't imagine the chat we would of had over yesterday's game), and his song recommendations. A truly great guy. Always friendly. Always seemed glad to see you walk into the barber shop. My condolences to those who were close to him.
