Joy! It’s so hard to believe that you have departed this world at such a wonderful time in your life, (Retirement time) . We think of you often, and just wish that we could have spent more time with you; however, we both went our separate ways after graduation and only spent time together when our summer holidays were home in NB. I also know how proud you were of being a twin sister to me and how much it meant to you to be a twin. I have placed the picture of you and I as babies on this site, so that we can reflect on our earlier life together. Rest in peace Joy! Hopefully you are living the life in his Kingdom that you so deserved.
Love your twin brother Joey, Shelley and your niece and nephew Vanessa & Jordan

I'm so sorry to hear about Joy's passing.
I worked with her for a few years and when she moved departments we would still see each other from time to time at work or when we bumped into each other at our local grocery store. She was always smiling and we always hugged when we saw each other. Rest in eternal peace Joy, I will miss you xx

Our friendship was far too short, I will miss our conversations on several topics like politics, Cape Breton and of course the Toronto Maple Leaf's. I may even cheer them on this season. Your pain is gone Joy, may you rest peacefully. Thank you for your friendship.

Will miss seeing Joy on Cranston Ave. She always shared a big hello when out for a walk or a friendly wave as she was driving down the road.
And we know she is a peace now.

Bill and I extend our deepest sympathy to Joy’s mother, siblings and extended family. I had the good fortune of getting to know Joy when she was a student and I was a teacher at Bathurst High School. Joy shared her bright and bubbly personality with everyone on staff and with her fellow students; her gleaming eyes were only outshone by her beautiful smile. When her parents chose the name Joy, they must have known that would be her lasting legacy - the joy she brought to everyone she met. Rest In Peace, sweet Joy.
