TAYLOR, Mary Susan, Age 66 of Halifax passed away on September 23, 2023, in the QEII Halifax Infirmary after several years of failing health. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia she was the daughter of George and Marie Taylor (nee Jeans). Mary Susan graduated from Saint Patrick's high school. She worked for many years at Eaton's before moving over to the provincial government in the 1990s, eventually retiring from NSBI in 2014. Mary Susan enjoyed summers swimming at the cottage. She was known for her love of sports, running the pools at her work, and was a big fan of the Montreal Canadiens. She loved all things British and especially watching British television. Her younger years, she enjoyed ice and roller skating. She was particularly skilled at waltzing on her roller skates. Survived by her sisters, Judy Madden (Danny), Patsy Gawdunyk (Paul) Anne O'Rourke and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents. Funeral Mass will be held on October 5, 2023, at 10 AM St. Catherine's Catholic Church 6476 Bayers Rd, Halifax Family flowers only/In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Special thanks to the nurses and attendants on the 6th floor Cardiac unit of the Halifax Infirmary, Erin Bissonnette, Father Robert Nicholas and Father Ron Cairns.
