Obituary of Steven Darrell Kilmister

KILMISTER, Steven Darrell, age 59, of Digby, NS passed 24th September 2023 at the QEII VG Hospital, Halifax. Born in Scarborough, Ontario he was the son of Darryl Louis Kilmister, Linda Morgan and Stepfather Robert Gore, Halifax.
Steve fought a courageous battle with MS since the age of 27 years old and later developed C.O.P.D, both of which he finally succumbed to. He lived a simple and honest life; his love of music and electronics helped him cope with his physical limitations. Steve always kept a positive attitude which helped him to enjoy his days. He will be sadly missed by all who loved him. The family wishes to express their thanks to all the Doctors and Nurses who treated him both at the Yarmouth General Hospital and the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax.
Steve is survived by his loving mother and stepfather; son, Andrew Kilmister, Kingston, NS; daughter, Katelyn Kilmister, Middleton, NS; brother, Michael Gore (Krista), Halifax, NS; sister Barby Brushett (Jason), Middle Sackville, NS; 4 grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, stepbrothers, and stepsisters.
Steven is predeceased by his biological father, Darrell Kilmister; brother, Allan Gore; and aunt, Barbara Deman.
Arrangements have been entrusted to T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists. Cremation has taken place. A family graveside service and burial to be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The M.S. Society.
