Obituary of Catherine Frances Isnor

Please share a memory of Catherine to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
ISNOR, Catherine Frances, 67, Halifax. On August 19th, her 45th wedding anniversary, Frankie who was raised in Glace Bay passed peacefully at her home in Halifax surrounded by her family and was finally reunited with her long missed and beloved Ma. Left to grieve are her husband, Gary; their children, Ann-Marie Isnor and Michelle (Joe) Quigley of Halifax; grandchildren, William, Alexa, Jacob, Emma, Jessica, Jorja, Lucia; her little sister, Aleta; big brother, Freddy; and countless family and friends. She was predeceased by her mother and stepfather, Marie MacNeil and Alex MacLeod; and mother-in-law, Ann Isnor. Mom is known for her open door, open arms, quick sassy wit, a cup of tea, her homemade sweets and nobody could tell a story quite like her. She adored and was so proud of her family and grandchildren and she would tell all who'd listen. Mom had so many amazing friends who became family, she cherished you all. A second mother to many, a safe place for all, she knew how to make so many feel loved. A celebration of life will be held on Monday August 28, 2023, 1:00pm in T.J. Tracey Funeral Home, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, Halifax, with a tea and reception to follow. Donations can be made to Halifax Hospice.
