I remember, I think it was the second time meeting Phil. He gave me his side by side to use so I could take some things to my place from the ferry dock, without me asking to use it.. I hardly knew him and he trusted me to use his machine. It stopped working while I was using it, but he just laughed and told me that it did that sometimes. From what I saw of him he seemed to have found “the” place for him and Tanya to live.
I was sorry and shocked when I heard, last year, of his sudden diagnosis and passing. My heart goes out to all.

A Uncle,abestfriend,A mentor,My favorite memory of all was bah hawing thru the oil fields in Dartmouth . We had so much fun. Trail riding thru the oil fields on the motocross we had a blast
These memories I hold dearly. My first time operating a Bob cat was digging the sewer line in his back yard in Cow Bay. He was so smart I love him dearly and will always be in my heart for all eternity. I'm sure he will be welcomed in heaven with my dad Fred at the gates RIP my dear Uncle and Condlences to Uncle Phillip's family

It is a shock to hear of my dear cousin,Philip's passing.Since we were the same age, we shared many good times as young children when he came with Aunt Mary & Uncle Fred to visit us, the Piercey's of Humber Heights in Corner Brook, Newfoundland.
Despite not seeing one another for many years, Philip always held a special place in my heart.May he go with the currents and rest in peace. Love cousin Grace Piercey Elvik.
