One of my fondest memories of my aunt Doreen was watching them all playing baseball ⚾️...laughter was always on deck in these games...her smile always lit up a room. Her over the top dirty jokes would make ya turn red...Her helping hands, she never turned anyone down, always willing to help out. She will be thoroughly missed. The good ones always get taken away. Rest easy auntie. Love u forever and a day! Xoxo

Jamie, Mike and family,
Dwayne and I are so sorry for your loss. We meet Doreen during our posting to Suffield and although we lost touch over the years, she was one of our dearest friends. We had so much fun camping, and just hanging out! There wasn’t too many weekends we weren’t together eating those cheap pork chops! Land Lubbers Forever! We will miss you my friend.

I am very sorry to read of your family's loss. I am not sure if our paths crossed through the military, but I have shared her obituary on a Facebook page for female military members and so far there are 45 emojis and/or comments, including from two girls who worked with her. One had served with her at the detention centre in Edmonton.
We send our condolences and thank her for her service to our country.

I met Doreen when she was posted in to Base MPs CFB Suffield Alberta from Halifax . We were both MCpls and shift supervisors . She was very well liked and called it as it was . If Doreen said it happened that way rest assured it did. We did the Collision Investigation Level Ii Course together . She played broom ball on a base league as I recall . She was also volunteering in the military community . She was respected by Canadian and British Military Police personnel and the community she served in . She was a good soul , loyal and courages. She had your back many times when we had to deal with the less desirable elements within the military community . I had many coffees teas and occasional jiggs dinner . Her home with Mike was a second home to both me and my father . My deepest condolences to Jamie , Mike and other family in her life she loved and spoke of often . Your earned your wings a long time ago Doreen.
