Michelle is a hero. I had the privilege of working with her in 2012 and most recently, delivered groceries to her residence in Mt. Uniacke during the Covid lockdowns.
Michelle inspired good leadership and taking care of people. I am a better person thanks to Michelle. Her legacy will continue to live in us through our actions and the kindness we bring to the world.

I am sorry I couldn't have done more friend. I miss you already and hope that you are at peace.
To your family, my deepest condolences during this difficult time. She loved you so much, and even though I haven't met many of you, I have heard stories. Devon and Jesse, she was so very proud of you both (as am I). I hope that you both continue to grow and thrive.
I will miss silly conversations, you giving me the "you're being extra weird" look, how you wanted to learn and try anything boat related and we always had so much fun doing it. We had some great adventures, and thank you for helping me keep doing what I love when things got tough. I realized that despite meeting through cadets, almost every picture I have is in civies on some sort of boat! I am so lucky to have had you in my life these past few years

Michelle and I started working together several years ago and it wasn't long before we became friends. Over countless mugs of coffee, we shared stories and laughs about work and life. She cared deeply about her family and friends, and wholeheartedly dedicated herself to everyone and everything she valued in her life.
To Michelle's family, I'm so very sorry for your loss. I hope the kind words and memories shared by those who knew and loved her will help comfort you in this difficult time.
Michelle, my friend, I will miss you.

It warms my heart to read all that every person she met in her life saw her as she was to everyone she met.Michelle always told me how much she loved working with the kids in cadets over the years, but she told me many times that she got so much more out of the cadets because she would never have gotten to do all of the thing's she did in her lifetime if not for them.

Michelle and I first worked together at Department of Health over 20 years ago and developed a friendship that has carried through the years ever since. The thing that immediately come to mind when I think of Michelle is our coffees at Tim's and hearing her talk so fondly of her family, the cadets, work being done on the house, or plans for the weekend. I think of how much pride she took in anything she did and how important it was to her to do a job well ... she always did better than well!
I am very sad for the family and all who knew her. Michelle you will be missed.

I was so sad to hear about Michelle’s death. She did so much for the cadet program through the years, and dedicated so much of her time. Marksmanship was one of her passions and she certainly passed that joy on to others including my daughter. My heart goes out to Roger and the boys.

Michelle will always been in my thoughts when I think of Cadets in Mount Uniacke. She gave her heart and soul to every Cadet she encountered over the years. We also played a few games of darts over the years.
She often talked of her love for her boys. She was so proud of Jessie and Devon.
Deep condolences to the family.

I have worked with Michelle on and off since the early 2000's. As it often is with the Province of Nova Scotia, our paths would diverge and converge at various points in the last 20 years. It was always a pleasure to catch up with Michelle, to hear about her family and the latest with her cadet career. It was obivous how much she loved being a mother and being a leader for her cadets.
My deepest condolences to her family, friends and to my fellow colleagues. Michelle will be missed.

Michelle and I worked together for many years and developed a close friendship. I deeply appreciated her quick wit and our shared dark sense of humour. She was passionate about her work and was always looking to learn and grow. She loved her boys fiercely. She was deeply loyal to her friends. During covid and after we would have virtual drinks, sharing stories, laughter and struggles until the wee hours. I will miss her deeply. Soar with the angels my sweet friend - until we meet again xoxo

I have worked with Michelle for 6 years and found her to be more than just a colleague, she was a great friend to me, we had plenty of great walks to Tims for coffee and tea, we chatted alot about life and personal stuff, even when we worked on projects, we still had a great time. I remember the day she ordered 2 kayaks and were brought to the office, myself and Doug were trying to help her mount the kayaks on the roof of her SUV, it was such a sweet moment as she very happy and excited. there was also a spider on the car, and I was scared to come near the car and she got rid of the spider for me :). I will truly miss her as she was more than just a work friend, she was my friend.
my deepest condolences to her family, deeply sorry for their loss and God rest her soul.
