I am so shocked and broken hearted to hear of Arlene's passing. She was a dear friend of mine.
Arlene and I grew up in #2 and shared so many great memories of our childhood there.
Arlene came back into my life about 11 years ago while living in Halifax.
We immediately resumed our friendship; who could resist! Her sense of humour was 2nd to none and the times we shared and the laughs were gut wrenching.
She was so smart and knowledgeable. She could discuss and debate any subject. We just got each other.
I admired her sense of style and coolness and enjoyed her company so much.
We shared a love of good food and music and shared many meals together.
We planned on getting together again when she moved to Cape Breton, but due to Covid etc., it did not happen.
We laughed and talked on telephone a lot during this time.
"Tell Me Why?" (our personal joke).
RIP my beautiful friend, I will miss you.

I am shocked and saddened to hear the news of Arlene's passing. We grew up in the same neighborhood and were friends over the years. We got back in touch in Charlottetown years ago and had some fun outings together. I moved to NB and we lost touch until I seen her last year in Glace Bay. I have been thinking about her a lot lately wondered how she was doing and was trying to figure out how to get in touch with her. My heart, thoughts and prayers for her family and close friends❤
