To all of Aunt Betty's family:
Aunt Betty will always be remembered by me as always being happy and smiling. Although I left Sydney in 1969 I have fond memories of times we spent when Dad and Mom (Donnie & Melida) would take us to Glace Bay back in the 50's to your Mom and Dad's home and we would have great times playing in the yard with John and other kids. I last seen Aunt Betty at the mall on Grand Lake road in the 2003/04 when I was home when Dad was failing and although she didn't recognize me at first as soon as I told her who I was she immediately smiled and we talked for a long time about years gone by. I hope that all the great memories you all had with her help you in this time of need and I would like to express my sincerest sympathy on her passing. I'm sure she is up in heaven with my Dad, Uncle Georgie and Aunt Betty all having a great reunion and looking down on you all.

I will always have the fondest memories of Betty. She was such fun. Beautiful smile. She was a faithful member of the Ladies Choir Of St Anne’s Church and also gave her many hours to attending the choir for funeral Masses. She was helping out with lots of Church events. And her bowling passion selling tickets and more tickets It was an honour to know her. Dear Blair and Qwen and all the family. Our heartfelt sympathy.

We are so sorry to hear of Betty's passing, my mom, Carmella always spoke so highly of her and in my mom's view was just a very nice person. May the countless happy memories of your times together be recalled and may that help deal with this time of sorrow.
May she rest in peace, have eternal rest she so richly deserves and may perpetual light shine upon her.
God Bless all

I grew up on McDonald’s Lane.Betty was the best neighbour a person could have .When I went into training as an X-ray Technician it was Betty who put on a going away party for me.She was the only woman that I knew who had her driver’s licence in the 1960.One memory I have of Betty’s kindness was when she gave me a sewing basket for Home Ec.This meant the world to a little girl living on McDonald’s Lane .Sincere condolence to your family.
Love Carol Ann(McNeil) & Jerry Fraser
