I just found out that Donald has passed. I am so saddened to hear this. I met him on the boardwalk with his little dog, his pride and joy. We chatted many times and he always had a treat that he shared with me , an Apple fritter of some kind . He was so kind and friendly . I just wanted to say how sorry I am , such sad news today to hear this .

To Donald's family and friends I would like to offer our sincere condolences. He was such a lovely gentleman and my fondest memories are as a young girl growing up in Louisbourg and skating at the old rink. Donald would always have to tie up my skates as I could never get the laces tight enough and did so with a smile. We had the pleasure of meeting him a few months ago and it was so nice to chat with him. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.
