Joseph "Joe" Estwick, 72
Glace Bay, N.S.
It is with great heartache, that we the family of Joseph Estwick, Glace Bay, announce his passing at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney on Friday, June 24, 2022. Born in Glace Bay, Joe was the son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Brewster) Estwick.
Joe worked as a Driver Examiner at Access Nova Scotia for 30 years up until his retirement. He was President of the Army Navy in Glace Bay for 27 years, and a devoted member for 33 years. Joe was highly active in Sports such as Baseball, Darts and Pool; Joe also loved to go hunting and fishing with his brother Walter; as well as camping with his family.
Joe is survived by his wife Susan (Bishop) of 51 years; a daughter Margaret (Troy); a brother Walter (Jenny); sisters: Barbara and Margie Estwick; four grandchildren: Daleeza and Gee Kaiser, Dimteria and Robin Parent, Nate, and Samerria; three great-grandchildren: Larissa, Finn, and Casey; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and the extended Bishop family.
Along with his parents, Joe was predeceased by sister’s Mary, Julia, Marilyn and Joan Estwick, and brother-in-law, Brian Brown, all of Glace Bay.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society.
