Dear Susan and Estwick Family,
Back in the 80s, I worked as a summer student when Joe worked at Licenses and Registrations at what was then called Motor Vehicles at the Provincial Building in Sydney. My recollections of Joe are identical to the way everyone describes him: warm, friendly, constantly smiling and kind. I have lots of fun memories of Joe giving me jabs to get me going, or of us talking about sports at lunch time over the occasional box of KFC. While I haven't seen Joe in years, he would occasionally bump into my sister and would always tell her to say hello to me. I am so very sorry that you have lost Joe so soon. You are all very much in my thoughts.

My sincere condolences to the Estwick family on Joe's passing.
Looking through the paper, I recognized Joe's name, saw his age, and knew that this was the same person I played Little League with in the early 60's. I left Glace Bay in the early 70's and didn't get to know the talented athlete who became the admirable man described by so many in these messages.
Rest in peace, Joe, you lived a good life and set a good example for others.
