My condolences to you Sharon, Lisa, and Hugh on the death of cousin David. My sister Pam said the three of us girls (Pammie, Lisa, & Julie) all had a crush on David when we were growing up which we did: he was so dazzlingly handsome. I have a very happy & grateful memory of visiting you, Sharon & David, one summer in Lunenberg when my kids Sam & Julia were about 8 and 10. Gentle David was so kind as to take Sam & Julia out in his sailboat for the afternoon & David told them "maybe some day we'll all sail together to Boston." Too bad it didn't come true then, but maybe we'll all sail together sometime in a different future, in a different world. Much love to you all, Lisa.

My condolences on your loss, Sharon and family.
I met Dave at Acadia back in 1965. We played guitars together and would meet many times through the years. We drew closer in the last few years as my concern about his illness increased.
Dave was a great friend with a wide variety of skills, knowledge, interests, and fascinations. He is, and will be, certainly missed.
Take care Sharon and all my best.

Dear Sharon, Lisa, and Hugh. I was so sad when I first heard of Dave’s illness. He was our doctor when I was growing up and it was Dr. Morse who inspired and encouraged me to pursue a career in medicine. He was my mentor and I often thought, when faced with a difficult problem, “what would Dr. Morse do”, and I continue to do that today. I owe a lot to him and I hope that in some small way I have paid him a fitting tribute. I know this was a hard road for all of you and I hope that you will take some comfort in your happy memories and the sincere love and best wishes of all the people whose lives he touched.

It was with great sorrow when I read of Dave's passing.
Having watched and worked with this fine physician over many years,
I must say our profession has lost "one of the best".
David was a most caring doctor with a deep emotion for his patients.
His love for his family and community were omnipresent.
Dave was a true star.....

Greatest doctor ever. He always went out of his way to help. He went above and beyond and exceeded all expectations. I remember once when my knee was broken and it became infected, Dr. Morse came in after hours and bathed my knee for such a long time. He really cared about his patients. So sorry for your loss. To Dave's Family-
I was very saddened to learn of Dave's passing. I grew up with Dave in Lawrencetown and we were classmates all through school. The last time I saw him was at the official opening of the new library bearing his Father's name in Lawrencetown back in the early 2000's. We did some reminiscing about our younger days and had a great chat. Dave was certainly a special guy and although after school days classmates often go their separate ways and lose touch, they are forever friends due to the bonding that has developed in the growing up process. Please accept my deepest condolences at this time of great loss.
Sincerely

Dear Sharon and family,
I was so saddened to learn of David’s passing. He was my first family doctor and delivered both my children in the beginning of his medical career in Lunenburg. He was such a warm and intelligent physician, and open to new (at the time) ideas about birth deliveries. We always enjoyed talking about sailing, our sailboats being the only pleasure sailing ones in the Lunenburg harbour at the time.
May his memory be a blessing.

Dave was such a gentle, kind man who made a huge impression on me when I first moved to Lunenburg and started practice. He was always patient and gave good advice. He was also remarkably humble despite being so intelligent and such a diligent doctor. Even though I never worked with him directly, I was honoured to take his practice (knowing I could never fill his shoes) and consider him one of my mentors. All of us who knew him and experienced his gentle humour and warmth are so blessed!
