Sharon L MacDonald posted a condolence

Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Michael Franklin. Mike was a family man who loved his wife and children and always put them first.
I met Mike when I was 9 years old, as I was good friends with his sister Cathy. I have fond memories of building camps, swimming, playing sports, and cutting down Christmas trees each year. His home was like my second home. My favorite memory was when Mike joined me at an all-night dance-a-thon at Sir John A MacDonald. We had a lot of fun dancing the night away.
He was a great father, son, uncle, brother, and a good friend to anyone who crossed his path. He will be sadly missed by anyone who crossed his path.
May the sorrow you feel in your heart be lightened by the love surrounding you all during this difficult time. Know that you will always have wonderful memories to cherish and comfort you. Mike is resting peacefully with loved ones who have gone before him.
God's love and many prayers are all around you, now and for as long as it takes. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends.
Love Sharon and Ron MacDonald
