Beverly Ann Blackburn, 76, of Halifax passed away December 9, 2024 at home with her loving family. Born in Halifax, NS she was the daughter of Arthur and Lorraine Sullivan. Beverly loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Wade, and a proud mother and grandmother. Her home was always filled with warmth, where she entertained with joy, cooking and baking delicious meals for loved ones. A talented and creative soul, Beverly enjoyed photography, painting, and knitting, sharing her beautiful creations with friends and family. She found peace in her garden, where she grew both flowers and vegetables with care. Beverly also cherished her weekly Bingo outings with her close-knit group of Bingo ladies and treasured hunting trips with her husband. Beverly is survived by her husband of 42 years, Perry Wade Blackburn; son, Craig Dennis Arthur Jackson (Erin Smith); daughters, Nicole Jackson (Jason Blanchard), Amy Morash (Jimmy Morash); brothers, Michael Sullivan (Sandy Sparkes), Kevin Sullivan; sister, Karen Sullivan (Scott Watson); grandchildren, Jenna Jackson (Muhamad Al -Sanajleh), Morgan Morash, Brook Morash, Justin Blanchard, Connor Blanchard, Abby Blanchard; great-grandchild Adalyn Peters. A Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 5pm to 7pm in T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialist, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, Beechville, NS, B3S 1C4 Interment will be at a later date in Sunrise Park Interfaith Cemetery. Family flowers only, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Special thank you to the local fire department, paramedics and caring staff at the QEII hospital for their special care of our Beverly.
