Obituary of David Wilson Musgrave
We, the family of David Wilson Musgrave, with broken hearts, announce his passing, on December 1, 2024.
Born in 1955 to Andrew and Theresa (Hillier) Musgrave of Sydney, Dave was a gentle soul, with a kind heart, and always a story to share.
Dave was respected for his work ethic at Sydney Steel, Devco Coal Pier,and Prince Mine, and after completing the Industrial Millwright Red Seal Program at UCCB, worked at Dow Chemical in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, where he was a foreman for Jacobs/Worley until his well-deserved retirement at Mira.
Dave is survived by and will be greatly missed by his wife of 50 years, Kay (Britten); son, David (Nancy); daughter, Jennifer Anderson; brother, Wayne (Patsy); sister, Terri Wadden; mother-in-law, Mary Britten; sister-in-law, Louise Britten; brothers-in-law, Jim (Deb) Britten, Paul (Cindy) Britten, Allen (Sharon) Britten and Ron (Fran) Britten.
He was the proud Grampy of Asher, Blake, Cole, Ellis, and Julianna, and uncle/grand uncle to many nieces and nephews whom he loved.
Dave was predeceased by his parents; his beloved son, Danny; sisters, Mary (Jim) Barrett, and Debbie (Ward) Wallace; brother-in-law, John Britten; sister-in- law, Cindy (Musgrave) Britten, and father-in law, Elmer Britten.
