Obituary of David Brian Mitchell

David Brian Mitchell, 70 of Maitland, NS passed away November 20, 2024 at Maitland, NS. Born in Brantford, ON he was the son of Nicholas Mitchell and Helen Mitchell. At a young age David grew up in Kitchener, Ontario, he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He spent many summers at the family cottage in Bala, Ontario along the Moon River. For most of his life he owned a motorcycle, enjoyed solo and trips with friends. He was currently a Red Seal Plumber, worked at Uniroyal Tire, Kitchener Ontario, MIL Davie, Dartmouth, and owned a transport truck working with Brookville Carrier, St. John, NB. David was also proudly a member of the Acacia #39 Masonic Lodge, Bridgewater, NS. David is survived by his sons, Rory Mitchell, Mader’s Cove, NS and Nicholas Mitchell, Dartmouth, NS. David was predeceased by his father, Nick Mitchell and mother, Helen Mitchell, both of Kitchener, ON. David was cremated, a Masonic Lodge Service to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bridgewater Food Bank or by dropping off items at a bin nearest you.
