We were sad to hear of the passing of Queenie, and know that your heart is probably broken Vince. It is hard to say goodbye.
Queenie and my dad, Malcolm, were very close until he passed away in early 1999. When Mom (Dorothy) moved back to Cape Breton, Queenie and Mom became great card buddies. And we made sure to visit every time we came from Ontario. This is a picture from 2016, which was the last time I saw her. We did exchange Christmas cards every year, until she couldn't anymore. We have so many great memories with laughs, Tarabish games, casino breakfasts (and some fun at the one armed bandits) and Grandma Mills's blueberry cake...mmmm! Oh - and parties in the basement with the old 8-track cassettes, listening to Elvis! Too much fun!
For a fun fact - I didn't even know she had any other name than Queenie until I was about 10! She will always be Queenie to us.
Know she is as peace, and she had a great welcoming party in heaven.

So sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. She often babysat myself and my siblings as she lived across the street from us. She was well loved by our family. Our condolences to her family.
