Philip visited his cousins in Ireland many times. He had a great interest in visiting his fathers fathers homestead in Mabouy Pomeroy County Tyrone. He stayed with my mother Maria Mc Kenna in Cookstown several times on his visits. He met with all his extended Mc Ardle family . Auntie Bridie arranged a party for his 80th birthday in her home in Moneymore .
