Obituary of Kevin Randolph Metcalfe (Hart)

Kevin Randolph Metcalfe (Hart) Hamilton, ON/Glace Bay, N.S. It is with shattered hearts, that we the family, announce the passing of our incredible father, grandfather, and great-grandfather Kevin Randolph Metcalfe (Hart) on November 6, 2024, in St. Joe’s Hospital, Hamilton ON. Kevin was the son of the late Thomas and Euphemia (Woodman) Metcalfe of Glace Bay. Left to celebrate his memory are his loving children Shauna (Ron), Lori, Kevin Jr. (Tammy) Metcalfe, Calvin (Malanya), Lynden (Igor), and Nicole MacDonald; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and his ex-wife Eileen Currie whom he loved and cherished with all his heart. Kevin is also survived by his two sisters Debbie Klein and Tina (Jimmy) Lynk of Hamilton, ON, as well as several nieces, nephews, sisters, and brothers-in-law. Along with his parents, Kevin was predeceased by his foster parents David and Leanna Hart, a granddaughter, great-granddaughter, seven brothers, a sister, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, and a sibling in infancy. Our family would like to acknowledge Carol Lambier and her son Trevor who were Kevin’s best friends and remained dedicated to their friendship and always took the time to visit dad in the hospital until his final hours. A celebration of life will be held in T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay (902-849-4199), on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 2 p.m., with Fr.
