Robert Francis Briand, age 86, of Halifax passed away on November 14, 2024 in the QEII Halifax Infirmary. Born in Halifax, NS he was a son of the late Clifford and Margaret (Vail) Briand.
Before his retirement, Bob worked in the travel industry and was widely known and respected.
He is survived by his wife, Donna (O’Regan) Briand of 60 years; daughters, Nicole Briand (Dennis Coffey), Beth Briand (Greg White); grandson, Matthew Coffey; beloved grand-dog, Tyson; several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his brothers, William Briand (Helen), Gerald Briand (Vivan); sister, Marie Leafloor (Fred).
Interment will take place at a later date.
