What feels like a hundred years ago we ran around your grandparents property and chucked crab apples at each other , man you had an arm on you even back then. We took the 3 wheelers out and you tried to convince Marsha and I that it was broke and we were stranded. Always the tease.
We grew close when you were expecting Chloee. I watched you prepare for motherhood at such a young age. You were calm ,ready to love your baby. You faced hard situations with such maturity when others would crumble. You always inspired everyone with your look on life , your approach to people. You sat and spoke with the person in the room ,others walked by. Your love for stories and music and companionship was unmatched . You loved deeply,with everything you've ever done. In your death ,I pray that we all take away , a piece of you that we all admired and wished we could mirror. Rest deeply now my old friend .

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Melanie?
A: I’m very sad to hear this news! had the pleasure of knowing Melanie a lifetime ago in Nova Scotia when we worked together at Chevys. I always thought that she was born in the wrong decade. She was definitely a 60s child! Her love for music, her natural raw talent and oh that voice! She will be dearly missed. deeply sorry to friends and family for your loss, God bless from Calgary & rest in peace!
