Obituary of Sandra Ellen MacDonald (McKenna)

Saturday September 28, Sandra Ellen MacDonald (nee McKenna) passed away peacefully at the QEII with family by her side.
Sandra is predeceased by her mother, Mildred Dorothy McKenna (nee Wilson), her father, Joseph Lester McKenna, her brother John Clifford, sister Karen Leslie.
Sandra is survived by the love of her life, her husband Robert MacDonald, her two children Clifford Hamilton (Sarah), Scott Hamiton(Goulya), stepson Daniel McDonald (Rochelle) and her siblings Donald McKenna (Larissa), Paula Colicchio (Franc) and Alane McKenna. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, nieces and nephews whom she loved with all her heart.
Among her favorite indulgences were the occasional Baileys or Khaluha and some fried clams and chips. Sandra was an accomplished swimmer! She loved touring her beautiful home province with Bob. One of her favorite places Sandra loved to visit was Victoria Park in Truro, NS.
She had a love for reality TV too! Always on top of the drama from Survivor to Big Brother and 90 day Fiance. Sandra had a love of music. From Classic Canadian rock, to popular Country Music to all the top pop songs.
Arrangements for Sandra’s final resting place are being arranged. In the meantime, her family asks that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in her name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held at a date to be determined. Godspeed, Sandy, we will always remember.
