In loving memory of Peter James MacAulay, who departed this life on the 22nd of September, 2024, at the age of seventy-eight. A native of Leven, Scotland, born on the 15th of November, 1945, he emigrated to the shores of Canada accompanied by his father, Alexander James MacAulay, and mother, Janet (Robertson) MacAulay.
Embarking upon a path of education, Peter obtained a BSC in Chemistry at Mount Allison University in Sackville, NB. He subsequently dedicated his talents to the RCMP Forensic Laboratory, rendering distinguished service in both Sackville, NB, and Halifax, NS. In his twilight years, he continued to contribute his expertise with the Commissionaires of Nova Scotia and Securitas Canada, earning the admiration of his colleagues for his industriousness and loyalty. In his earlier years, Peter was a member of the Chester St Margarets NDP party.
Peter leaves behind his beloved wife, Nancy (nee Bishop) of Bedford, his brother Kenneth and his wife Wilma of Kitimat, BC, his son Donald and wife Catherine of Bridgewater, NS; and his daughters Heather and her husband John of Halifax, NS, and Lynn with Alex of Wales, UK.
