Our sincere condolences for your loss.
We had the utmost respect for Jack and the work he did in the fishing industry.
He became a very dear, close friend to us when he met us years ago.
Sambro community truly respected Jack and the company he represented, and still does !
We loved his spirit, kindess, generosity and his laugh,.
He has a beautiful family, and Rosie is very dear to us.
We met many friends of the company through Jack and we will miss him dearly!
A favourite memory I want to share is :
2-3 weeks ago, Rhonda Gray brought Jack around to visit us. We laughed and carried on all afternoon because him and Switcher ( Danny) had so many things to catch up on !
Danny leaned a lot from Jack, and he will be missed dearly.
Sorry we didn’t make the funeral but our thoughts and prayers were with you all !
Sincerely,
Danny and Patricia Gray

To my dear friend Adele and her family, my sincere condoleances on the loss of your father. I only met your father once but I will always remember it. He reminded me of my own father, hard working, solid man. Adele, I am so grateful for all the conversations we`ve had about your father. I feel very privileged to have known him through your loving eyes.

I always remember Jack making Perry and I laugh everytime we saw him. Then the hunting stories or fishing stories would begin. My condolences to the family, another good one gone.

Cindy and I extend our sincerest condolences on your loss Adele. So many great memories of Jack or As we kids ( at the time ) called Uncle Jack. From selling apples every year with the 5 ton, to working at Bayside supplies, to working at Gorerocks and then Hunting with Jack, Johnny, DAD (Nick Ryan) ....Nothing but a gentlemen, an astute business man , a joker, always having fun with family, friends, staff and the public. Jack did so much for the community . He loved his family, friends, treated folks that came to the shop like they were long time friends. Jack always had time for you. He is a Gem and will be missed for sure. BIG HUGS Adele, Mark, Rose Marie.

It is seldom in this life that you meet others who instantly became friends, but we found that with Jack and his family! A chance meeting became a friendship that lasted 30 years. There are so many memories during your hunting trips to New York, from watching and counting the deer, our spot lighting excursions, naps taken and some of your best deer taken from the Taj Mahal! The unwrapped cheese slices on your sandwiches, the big family meals, many Thanksgivings shared together and Jack trying to decide which pies to eat and the endless hunting stories!
Jack, Sylvia, Johnnie, Adele, Mark, Denise, Rose, Jason, Hunter and Kass will always be a part of our New York family. We will miss Jack everyday, but our lives are better by having the privilege of calling you friend/family! We Love You Jack!
Bob, Pat, Scoob, Brian, Lance, Karen, Austin, Cade and the extended New York family
