Obituary of Anna Louise Rawding

"Anna Louise Rawding (Philpitt) age 55 of Sackville NS passed away peacefully with family at her side on September 11th at the VG Hospital. Born in January 1969, she was the daughter of William Philpitt and the late Anna Philpitt (Murphy). Anna grew up in Beaver Bank and Sackville Nova Scotia. Known and loved by many, Anna spent 35 years working in pubs and restaurants in Sackville where she forged strong friendships and relationships with many amazing people. Her legacy will be her love and devotion to her family and friends, many of whom she considered family. Anna was a hard working, strong, and loving member of her community. She is survived by her partner of 12 years, Rick Elliott; her son, Alex Rawding (Kaitlin); her daughter, Haylee Jarvis; and her stepdaughter, Allison Elliott. Anna is also survived by her Father, William Phillpitt. Anna leaves behind her brothers, Billy (Candace), Steve (Patsy), and Darrell, as well as her sister, Kim (John). Anna dearly loved her two grandchildren, Elise and Harper; her nieces, Cassie (Paul), Allie, Emersyn, and Meadow; and her nephews, Alex, Joshua (Anjelica), Justin, Cody, Eli, and Hunter. Anna is predeceased by her Mother Anna. A memorial service will be held on September 25, 2024, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion, located at 45 Sackville Cross Rd, Lower Sackville. Following the service, the burial will take place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Afterward, a reception will be held back at the Royal Canadian Legion.In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to a charity of your choosing in her memory. Anna will be sorely missed by many dear friends who were always there for her and who she considered family!
