It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Vladyslav Sapiga on August 28th, 2024, at the OEll Health Sciences Centre. Born in Kyiv, Ukraine he was the son of Natalia & Vitaliy.
Vlad enjoyed long walks and being close to the water. He was an avid and very skilled billiards player. He always put everyone else first, before himself. He loved his family dearly, especially his grandmother Olga. He was very spiritually connected to her. His charming smile and great presence of laughter made him a pleasure to be around. Uncle’s Vadim and Sasha will always be with him. Ana will always be his true love.
Vlad was survived by his wife Ana Carolina de Souza Marques of 5 years.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made directly to his mother, Natalie Wilson.
A special thank you to the ICU doctors, nurses and trauma team at the QEll Health Sciences Centre. A warm and special thank you to Dr. Jack Rasmussen for his compassion, professionalism and support to Natalie and family during the last days of Vlad’s life.
