Judith Anne MacAskill (Lucas), born May 16th, 1953, passed away peacefully on April 19th, 2024.
She is survived by her husband Grant, daughters Tamara and Tracey, sons Ian and Andrew, grandchildren Ella, Daxon, Stevie, Zaden, Mackenzie, Pandora, Oliver, and Riley, and siblings Alice, Marshall, Nickie, John, Terry and Bet.
Judi grew up in Woodside (Dartmouth), Nova Scotia. From an early age Judi was active in community activities and through the years enjoyed many sports including softball, cheerleading, curling and golf. She had a love of nature, animals, and found peace near the water. Judi enjoyed travelling and had the opportunity to explore beautiful parts of the world, with Africa being her most treasured travel experience.
Judi had a heart of gold and always carried a desire to help others. Her loved ones could tell you about her infectious positive spirit and passion for life. She loved with her whole heart and found the greatest joys in being surrounded by family and loved ones, and gave the best hugs around.
Judi was thoughtful and kind, strong, honest, and compassionate. Her presence has been and will continue to be missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Judi on August 30th, 2024, from 10-12, at 14 Stillwater Lake Drive. Smiles, laughter, and fond memories are requested.
