Obituary of Florence Beverly (Corbett) Peach

We the family of Florence Beverly (Corbett) Peach, 83, of Sydney, are sad to announce her passing on Monday, July 22, 2024, in the Cove Guest Home, with her sister Loretta at her side. Born in Glace Bay, Florence was the daughter of the late Pius and Elizabeth (MacKay) Corbett. Florence enjoyed spending time with her family, as well as a good game of Bingo and Bowling. She is survived by her son, Jason Corbett, Ontario; brother, Greg (Mary Louise), Dominion; sister and caretaker, Loretta (Kenny) Munroe, Dominion, sisters, Frances Corbett, Dominion, Valerie Calhoun (Late Jim), Ontario, Geraldine Williams (Late Joe), Sydney Mines, Colette Parson (Dave Turner) Louisbourg; sister-in-law, Carlotta Corbett, Sydney Mines; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Along with her parents, Florence was predeceased by her husband, Del Peach, sisters, Lillian (Willie) Usher, Joyce (Gordon) Clark, Marion (Lenny) Braganaza, Evangeline (Dave) Pasher, Muriel Corbett; brothers James, Robert, and Tommy (Muriel). Visitation will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday August 27, 2024, at 11 a.m., all in T.J.
