It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon Norman Deal – age 71, of Brookside, NS on August 17th, 2024, in the QEII Halifax Infirmary.

Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia he was a son of the late Gordon and Leona (Shubley) Deal.

He is survived by his wife Judith, children; Paula (Graham), Vance, Andrea (Daniel) and Amy (Colin). Brothers; Barry (Karen) and Bernard (Jo-Anne). Grandchildren; Nick, Kristy, Emma, Julia, Jessica, Hunter, Gordon, Ella and Jace. Four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, his brother; Leonard and sister; Sharon.

As per Gordon’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to a charity of your choice.
