Obituary of Christine Corrigan

It is with great sadness that the family of Christine Corrigan announce her peaceful passing at Ocean View Continuing Care Centre on August 1, 2024. Chris leaves behind her loving husband, Pete; her daughter, Andrea (Mark), son Ronald (Edna) and granddaughter Venessa. She was predeceased by her parents, Marian and Ronald Gibbons. She is survived by her brothers, Wayne (Sandy) and Glenn, sister in law, Susan, special cousin, Emma Williams, and many family members and friends in NS, NF and Pembroke, ON. Chris will be remembered for her kindness and her love of dogs. She was employed by Sobeys in Bedford and very much enjoyed meeting the customers, and her daily interaction with them. The family would like to thank the staff at Ocean View Continuing Care Centre for their kindness, care and compassion for Chris. A special thank you to Linda Bird of the Alzheimer Society for her kind advice and support. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will take place at Fairview Lawn Cemetery, Halifax at 1pm, AUGUST 7, 2024. Donations in memory of Chris, can be made to Alzheimer Society or SPCA, or any charity of your choice.
