Obituary of Kevin Michael Joseph Verge

The family of Kevin Verge are devastated by his sudden passing on Monday, July 29 at the age of 37. Kevin was born in Halifax and spent most of his life in the North End. He developed an early interest in golf, which he played with his father, Michael. Kevin worked in construction and was involved in many projects in the Halifax area over the last number of years. One of the happiest times of his life was when his son Bradley was born. He was such a proud father to this little bundle of joy who came into his life. He and Bradley shared a love of hockey and cheered on their favourite team, the Montreal Canadiens. They also enjoyed basketball, and many other sports; they spent many hours watching games, sharing statistics, trades, etc. Kevin is survived by his son Bradley, mother Carlyne, father Michael (Doris), sister Tanya (Andrew), his aunts Gwen, Sharon, Bernice, Renelle, Ramone and nephew Tylis. Also survived by Bradley's mother, Lindsay Annett. He was predeceased by both his fraternal and maternal grandparents. By request, there will be no service.
