My sister Marie , I am so very sad that you are gone. You were one of the kindest, most compassionate people I have ever known , and consider myself very lucky to have had you in my life. Some of my fondest memories of growing up in Terrence Bay included you and Uncle Greg , you never failed to treat me as one of your own .
Our last phone call ended in both of us saying “I love you “ , and “See you in September “. Who would have known that you would be taken before I had the chance to see you and reminisce one last time ?
I will miss your beautiful heart and wonderful stories . So, until we meet again dear sister , may you Rest In Peace.

To Marie's family,
Richard and I send our deepest condolences to all of you on the loss of your dear mother. Our thoughts go back to the late 1960s and early 70s when we enjoyed your parent's company singing and playing music so very often with Mary & Donnie Slaunwhite in their home. What wonderful memories. We moved away shortly after but always enquired how your parents were doing and were so pleased that they continued to entertain many other friends. Treasure your memories. May the love of friends help you at this very difficult time.

My heart hurts for all of you. Marie was one of the most lovely people I have ever met and no matter where you were when she saw you, she would seek you out for a hug and a chat. She would always ask how everyone in my family were doing. She will be missed by more people than you can imagine. My sincere condolences to all of her family and friends. She is with Greg again and in very good hands.

To Marie's family,
I have not seen your mother/grandmother for many years.
I am glad I noticed her name this morning and then went to look for this obituary.
You describe the woman I remember from the late 60s-70s!
My sympathy and prayers as you miss her presence and keep her in your hearts.
Nice that she will be buried at Star of the Sea.
