Obituary of Bruce Robert Marryatt

Please share a memory of Bruce to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with great sadness that we are announcing the passing of our father Bruce Robert Marryatt, 61, comfortably at the Colchester Hospital (July 8th 2024). Born in West Pennant, Sambro, Bruce was the son of Donald Robert Marryatt and Lillian Joy Marryatt (Baltzer). Bruce was a self-employed commercial fisherman for most of his life but started fishing as early as elementary school with his father. He enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, four wheeling, and camping. He had many fond memories with many friends when it came to the great outdoors. He also took great pride in showing his children what he knew all through their life. Bruce was always a joker and loved to laugh and tease, he was an excellent story teller though sometimes exaggerated to add emphasis. He left an impression on everyone he met with his friendly personality and quirky ways. Bruce leaves behind his common–law wife, Joanne Richard; his two children, Christopher Marryatt aka Mini Grimace and Krista Marryatt(Max Brown); step son Jonathon Severeyns; Grandchildren, Natalia Brown and Lillian Brown; and sister, Darlene Marryatt-Ruhs(Scott Ruhs). He is predeceased by his father and mother, Donald Robert Marryatt and Lillian Joy Marryatt (Baltzer); and Grandparents, Rob Marryatt and Marjorie Marryatt (Kirk). Cremation has taken place at T.J. Tracey Funeral Home and a celebration of life and graveside service will be at a later date.
