Mary Christine Daigle, 62
Donkin, N.S.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a cherished mom, sister, aunt, and friend, Christine ‘Chrissy’ Daigle (Comer), 62, of Donkin, on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.
Daughter to the late Eddie Sr. and Roy Comer, she spent her years as a devoted teacher aide for the Cape Breton Regional School Board. She was a free spirit who loved singing and dancing (despite her lack of vocals and rhythm, lol). She was a kind-hearted woman who would give you the shirt off her back and took immense pride in her three girls and cats, Darcy and Emme. She loved camping, cooking, and reading Victorian-Era novels, her favorite being Pride and Prejudice.
She is survived by her three beautiful daughters, Melissa, Dominique, Chantale Daigle, and their father, Glenn Daigle. Brothers Wayne (Ruth), Eddie (Pauline), Blair (Marian), David (Heather), and Bernie; as well as her sister, Carol Ann Comer.
Predeceased by parents John Edward Comer and Mary Rodina Comer (Macdonald); sisters Linda Macinnis and Gail Comer; nephews, Matthew Somerton, Mark Comer, and Stephen Comer; great niece Alexis, as well as her dog Ricki G.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 1-3 pm in T.J. Tracey Funeral Home, 370 Reserve St, Glace Bay, N.S. 902-849-4199.
Our family would like to say a special thank you to our friends and family for their love and support during this challenging time.

To My Mom In Heaven
I thought of you today,
But that is nothing new
I thought of you yesterday,
And days before too.
I think of you in silence,
I often speak your name.
All I have are memories
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is a keepsake
From which I will never part.
God has you in his arms,
I have you in my heart.
