Giuseppina Petrella,(91), passed away peacefully May 15, 2024. Born in Pratola Peligna, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Liberato and Michelina (Giovacchini) Cianfaglione.
Giuseppina immigrated to Canada from France in 1962. She worked at the former Halifax Infirmary. Giuseppina is survived by her daughter, Maria (Giovanni); son, Marcello (Jill); two grandchildren, Lisa (Michael), Laura (Mike); four great grandchildren; nephews and niece.
She was the last of her immediate family and was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Pelino; brothers, Donato and Giovanni; and sisters, Raffaela, Nunziata, and Anna.
A Visitation will be held Wednesday 22 May 2024 at 10:00am in T.J Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, Beechville, NS with a Funeral service to follow at 11:00am. Interment at Fairview Lawn Cemetery will follow after the funeral service.
