Obituary of Stella Marie Boutilier

Stella Marie Boutilier, 67 Glace Bay, N.S. It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a wife, mother, sister, nanny, and great nanny. Stella Marie Boutilier, 67, passed away at home surrounded by her family after a brief battle with cancer. Stella deeply missed the love of her life John, who passed on May 4, 2019, and is now reunited with him. Born on March 20, 1957, Stella was the daughter of the late Colin and Florence Peach of Glace Bay. Stella enjoyed playing Darts and going camping. Trailer nights with her sisters was one of things she looked forward to. Stella was a true Montreal Canadiens Fan and loved Blue Jays and all solar lights. Stella is survived by her six daughters: Stella (Fred) Lynk, Pearl (Austin) Warren, Anita (Bobby) Cooke, Mary, Darby, Joann (Carl) Wheeliker; Best Boy Andy, son Trent Sampson, and special son Colin Peach; she will be deeply missed by her 19 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Mom also leaves behind brothers, Ross, and Freddie; sisters Mary (Greg), Corbett, Sharon (Gene) Vaters, Paulette (Buddy) Usher, Vivian (Larry) Pushie, and Lucy (Ray) MacNeil, all of Glace Bay. Along with her husband John and parents Colin and Florence, Stella was predeceased by her brothers Archie, Kevin, and Joe, as well as sisters Muriel, and Valerie; and two grandchildren in infancy, Marie May, and baby Christiansen. On behalf of Stella, we send a special Thank you to all Palliative Care Doctors, and Nurses; to the VON who took the best care of our mother. A warm special thank you to her beautiful nurse Linda (Mom loved Linda) her face would light up when Linda would come through the door, Mom loved you all. Stella is now in the arms of Jesus. Amen.
