Condolences to the family and loved ones. I was so sorry to hear of Blaine's passing. We were classmates since primary school in Reserve Mines. I had the pleasure of reconnecting years later and enjoyed a day at a car show in the Valley with Blaine and his lovely wife Deborah. He was a great guy who will be sorely missed.

I believe Blaine was the son of my mother's sister, Cedella (Della) and her husband Joe Aucoin who would have been my uncle by marriage. If I have the story 'right' my uncle Joe Aucoin was blinded in a industrial accident. I believe you were my cousin Blaine. I sorry I never met you. xo

Sorry to hear of Blaine's passing. When I was living on Glace Bay Road, Blaine was 10 years younger than me, so we had little contact back then. But I met him at the Atlantic Nationals in Moncton a bunch of years ago with the Fairlane, and then again at one of Chad Hiltz's shows here in the Valley. There was a bond as we were from the same village. He sure had the passion for old cars, just like me. He will be missed by the car hobbyist community.
