Obituary of William Allen Hudson

Hudson, William Allen, age 78, of Halifax, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2024 at home.
Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late William K. and Mildred (Pye) Hudson.
Bill worked for and retired from Loblaws. Bill spent a lot of his time watching TV and had many shows he enjoyed. He loved listening to old country classics and singing along. Bill also played the guitar and sang. He would love to tell stories about his younger days. He always had daily chats on the phone with his sister, Carolann. He would enjoy his visits from his neighbours and was always happy to see the children visit.
Bill is survived by his sisters, Carolann Carrigan, Halifax, and Sheree Peters, Dartmouth. Bill is predeceased by his parents, William K. and Mildred (Pye) Hudson, sister, Valerie Butt and niece, Sheree Carrigan.
We would like to thank Closing the Gap staff, VON, Hatchet Lake Medical Centre (in particular Dr Harris Crooks), Palliative Care Unit (in particular Claire and the after hours team), Oncology Team (in particular Dr Colwell, Dr Sheridan and the chemo unit). Bill appreciated the support and company from his neighbours. Special thanks to T.J. Tracey funeral home in particular Jim and Josh for all their help and compassion. He will be greatly missed.
As per Bill’s wishes, there will be no service.
