Obituary of Robert Parker Somers

Age 56, of Beechville. We the family are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Robert on April 6, 2024. Born July 7, 1967 in Halifax, he was the son of Deborah Somers and the late Robert A. Somers (who passed 7 months ago). After years of going down the wrong path, this time he was intent on making a change for a better future for himself and his family, but he now will never have the chance. What you can never take away from him was that he was very mannerly and respectful with those he came in contact with. He inherited his nutty humour from his Father. Robert is survived by his loving daughter, Breanna (Terrico); grandson, Kingston, and soon to be grandson #2; brothers, Ryan (Ashley), Richard (Angela); nephews, Isaiah, and Elijah; aunts; uncles; and cousins. Robert was predeceased by numerous family members. Cremation has been entrusted to T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Beechville, where a service will be held at 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Fund, Beechville Baptist Church, or the Northwood Foundation Halifax. Robert, rest peacefully in the arms of Dad. oxo
