My condolences to Tommy and all of Neil's Family.
So sorry to hear of Neil's passing. Neil was a great guy and the best goaltender I ever played against. I don't know how many times that I felt I'd been robbed when playing against him.
My prayers are with you.

To Neil’s family, we are so saddened by Neil’s passing. We have lost another good North Ender. We remember Neil growing up on Drummond Court playing hockey with the neighbourhood boys.
We attended a Celebration of Life with Neil along with many family and friends. In true Neil fashion he did it his way. It was a great day .

Hi Tommy, Thanks for the conversation today concerning Neil's passing. My sincere sympathies to the entire Family as mentioned in the obit. As you are aware Neil was born 3 weeks before me. I remember a lot of interaction with the Smith Cousins when Scott and I were kids. Remember watching you and then Neil in goal for QE at the old Dartmouth Rink-telling my friends "this is my cousin".Neil was a good person-helped me out several times and a favourite of MOM.A life well lived. RIP Bruce Cameron

To all Neil’s Family and friends, so sorry to hear of Neil’s passing . My sincerest condolences. He was the best and most exciting goaltender I ever experienced . He led the QEH Lions to our first overall victories in 19 and 20 years. The magic was always there as he robbed goals from great players , particularly The ST. PATS guys ! Neil created the most incredible memories for us all. I loved Neil from the moment I met him. He had a special way and a powerful spark. Rest in peace my friend . You will be truly missed by all who were blessed to know you. I will never forget you. Gary Hurshman
