I am sorry to hear of Marion's passing. She was a cousin of my late Mother and the Keane family in Kerry, Ireland. Marion and I were friends on FB and occasionally exchanged messages when she would enquire about my late Mother Peggy. She visited the family here in Ireland many years ago. Condolences to all the Healy and Freund families. May Marion's gentle soul rest in peace. Michael Collins & Family, Ireland.

My first late husband, George, and I met Marion and Gerhard through mutual friends, Marion and Dick Irey, in Gainesville. George and Dick taught together in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, at U.F. We spent many happy hours having wonderful dinners and sharing conversations, with all of them, at the Ireys’ home. I was very sad to learn of Marion’s passing, today. I tried to call her, after she moved to Canada, but the calls never went through. I will treasure the beautiful memories we all made together. Marion was right! Her children are magnificent. My new husband, Rob, a brave Marine in Vietnam, and I, are indebted to her daughter, Anne, for the book she wrote to help veterans.
