Obituary of Linda Alice Hartson

Linda Hartson ( Brophy), age 77, Halifax, NS, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2024.
Born in Chezzetcook, NS, she was the daughter of the late Theresa Atkinson and Cyril St. Clair Brophy.
Linda enjoyed dancing, cooking, music, and card games. She spent her time with friends and family, playing cribbage and travelling to Newfoundland, where her heart was always happy.
Linda is survived by daughters, Michelle Campbell (Craig) of Edmonton Alberta, Melanie Hambrook: Edmonton, Alberta; and her beloved grandchildren, Becca, Samuel and John; sisters, Evonne Young of Cumberland Co., Cindy Hillier of Dartmouth NS, Annie Clark of Cumberland Co.; brothers, William Brophy of Vancouver BC, and Vincent ( Anne) of Dartmouth NS.
She was predeceased by her husband, Basil Hartson; brothers, George Brophy, Cyril Brophy, John Brophy; and her parents, Theresa Atkinson and Cyril Brophy.
A special Thank You to the staff on the fifth floor at Northwood Terrace for their care over the past three years.
A private service and celebration of life will be held when the skies are blue in Alberta and in Newfoundland. Donations may be made to The Diabetes Association of Canada.
