To Barb and the girls, I have the most wonderful memories of your Dad giggling and whooping it up with my Mom. She always adored spending time with him and was always so proud of what a wonderful stand up guy he was. My heartfelt blessings for peace and healing during the time it takes to get use to his earthly absence. They never leave us. I know this as true as God is in my heart. Love to you all. It was my pleasure to know and work with Lorne for 20 years from '74 to '94 at Stora Forest Industries. He was a pleasant man and always conducted himself so. I liked him. May God bless him and reward him with his place in heaven.

It was always a joyful moment when we got to Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia. Uncle Lorne and Aunt Barb's hospitality and warmth were extraordinary and so typical of the Eastern hospitality that we experienced so many times.

Barb and Lorne were a well respected couple in my home town of Port Hawkesbury growing up. Their daughter Sheri is married to my younger brother Frank. Fortunate to share time for a reunion here and there over the years, I will always have fond memories of Lorne being kind, gentle and engaging when company came to visit. I know that he will be dearly missed by his family and friends. May they all keep their treasured memories close to their hearts.
