I have much respect for Doug.
Although our friendship was relatively short, he had a gigantic heart. I was invited by Doug to stop by when I was out that way.
Four times over 2 years, I did drop in,but he was always on the move. A solid confidant who never spoke trash about people.
And what a chef he was! I can't remember the last time we talked, but he is instantly missed by myself.
He certainly loved his wife, because he mentioned that to me several times.
Your pain is gone, no more hobbling around my friend.
