To Carmel, Gloria, and family...
I'm writing this for my mother, Joan, and I. Joan, as was mentioned, was one of Marg's best long-time friends. Marg, Marj, and Mom, met working at the March of Dimes all those decades ago., and had lots of good times together since. I called those 3 my 3 mothers, since Marg and Marj also knew me from my birth, and I heard interesting stories of pushing my carriage! :) There were many times Marg and Gillis would be not only at my mother's home, but at my home as well, for get-togethers and parties... us both enjoying their company! I still have several lovely covered clothes-hangers Marg crafted. Mom has many lovely photos to remember great memories. I was gifted a recent visit with Marg at her Northwood home only about a month ago, and was glad to see she was in good spirits as I enabled her to hear Mom's voice by phone again and I was able to talk a bit with Marg...leaving a small photo of the 3 (I framed) for her that I took years ago but had temporarily displaced.
Our many sympathies, as Marg will sadly be missed by both of us.

I met Marg when she knocked on my mother’s door at Aberdeen Hall assisted living. Mom was having a very hard time adjusting to the move and Marg took her under her wing. They became very good friends and spent a lot of time together. I remember many times when I arrived for a visit and Marg and mom would be sitting in their favorite perch - the chairs along the small landing at the top of the stairs on the second floor. From there they could watch for visitor arrivals and have great chats. She made a huge difference for mom. I’ll remember her as a sweet lady.
