Obituary of Hani Wahba Adolf Wahba

WAHBA, Hani Wahba Adolf, 73, of Cairo, Egypt passed away February 21, 2024 at Halifax. Born in Cairo, Egypt he was the son of Adolf Wahba & Hoda Fawzy Mesiha. Hani Wahba was a professional journalist, he taught Mass Communications at the American University of Cairo (AUC). He owned a successful Import/Export company. Hani loved travelling, playing music, reading, and spending time with his loved ones. Hani is survived by his wife of 42 years, Gihan Gobrial; sons Michael Wahba & Mina Wahba; sister, Nagwa Wahba; and grandchildren, Silvan Wahba, Amelia Wahba, Eleanor Wahba and Nathaniel Wahba. He is predeceased by his father, Adolf Wahba; and mother, Hoda Fawzy Mesiha. A funeral mass will be held Saturday February 24, 2024 at 11:30AM IN Saint Mena’s Coptic Orthodox Church, 167 Willett Street, Halifax, NS B3M 3L6 with Hegumen Father Daniel Rizg and Father Thomas Samouel officiating.
