The family of Linda Ann Nicholson are deeply saddened to announce her passing on January 8, 2024, at the QEII Health sciences center Halifax N.S. Linda passed peacefully with close family at her side.
Linda was the daughter of the late Thomas Edward Little and Olive May little (Slaunwhite).
She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years Robert Thomas Nicholson , Brothers Raymond (Ray) Little and Frederick (Bing) Little both of Terence Bay NS also sister Mary (Lorraine) Meehan (little) of Halifax.
Left to mourn her passing are children Peter Nicholson Halifax NS and Christine Nicholson-Bowes (Maurice) Halifax , Granddaughter Tori Bowes Edmonton AB, Sisters Gladys (Glad) Slaunwhite (Little) Halifax NS. and Gertrude (Gert) Hardiman (Little) Alsford NS., Aunt Helen (Connie) Drew (Little) the Matriarch of the Family. Along with many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Linda was beloved by all who knew her. A kind and loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend. She will forever be missed by all who knew her.
The family would like to say a special thanks to Dr. Meredith Chiasson and Shelly at the QEII Respiratory clinic for the unmatched support and caring over the past 10+ years. Also, to her home support and caregivers Joann Hamilton and Ann Crossman, as well as the ER staff and Doctors who took care of her on the night she passed. The team at T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists for excellent care and compassionate service we received for both our Parents.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Lung Health Foundation.
